FitClips is operated by WebAI Hungary Kft ("FitClips", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when people use FitClips.

FitClips is a multi-tenant platform where fitness trainers run their branded pages and members buy and use workout programs or subscriptions. If you are a member buying from a trainer, both FitClips (platform operator) and the trainer (the business you buy from) may process your data for their own responsibilities.

1) Scope

This policy applies to:

  • public trainer pages;
  • trainer admin pages;
  • member pages and workout player;
  • checkout, billing, and account-related flows.

2) Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to run the service:

  • Account and profile data: name, email, login identifiers, profile details, branding details, and account settings.
  • Member activity data: enrollments, workout progress/completions, subscription status, and related access history.
  • Purchase and billing metadata: products/plans purchased, amount, currency, timestamps, purchase status, and Stripe identifiers (such as customer, checkout session, payment, and subscription IDs).
  • Technical and security data: session/authentication cookies, IP/device/browser metadata, request logs, and diagnostic data.
  • Content uploads: files, videos, and related metadata needed to store and serve uploaded content.

We do not store full payment card numbers on FitClips servers.

3) How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • provide and operate FitClips features for trainers and members;
  • authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and webhook-based billing updates;
  • grant/revoke access to paid content;
  • send transactional emails (for example purchase confirmations and account notices);
  • detect fraud, prevent abuse, debug incidents, and improve reliability;
  • comply with accounting, tax, and other legal obligations.

4) Payments and Stripe

FitClips uses Stripe Connect (Standard) so trainers can accept payments directly through Stripe.

To run checkout, subscriptions, refunds, and fraud checks, we share relevant data with Stripe, including name/email, transaction details, order/account identifiers, and technical anti-fraud metadata (such as IP and device/browser signals).

Payment card details are entered into Stripe-hosted forms and processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms. We keep only limited payment metadata needed to manage access, billing state, and support.

When members use Stripe Checkout or Stripe Customer Portal, Stripe may set cookies or similar technologies for payment functionality, fraud prevention, and compliance.

5) How We Share Information

We share personal information only when necessary to run the service:

  • With trainers and their organizations: member identity, purchase/subscription status, and workout/program progress needed to deliver purchased services.
  • With infrastructure and service providers: for hosting, database/storage, payments, email delivery, video/media delivery, monitoring, and background jobs.
  • For legal/safety reasons: when required by law or to protect rights, users, and platform security.

We do not sell personal information for money and we do not rent personal data for third-party marketing.

7) Cookies, Tracking, and Analytics

FitClips uses cookies and similar technologies for login/session management, security, service operation, and performance monitoring.

Third parties (especially Stripe, and in some contexts analytics/monitoring providers) may also set or read cookies/identifiers when you use payment or app pages.

If your jurisdiction requires consent for non-essential cookies/tracking (including in parts of the EEA/UK/Switzerland), FitClips and its service providers will only use those technologies where we have the required legal basis (such as your consent where applicable). Essential cookies needed for authentication, security, and payment processing may still be used as permitted by law.

You can also manage many cookies through browser settings and through third-party controls when available (for example, Stripe's cookie settings).

8) Data Retention and Security

We retain data for as long as needed to operate FitClips, maintain account and billing integrity, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Examples:

  • active account and service data is retained while your account is active;
  • purchase and financial records may be retained longer for compliance;
  • data is deleted or minimized when no longer needed, subject to legal requirements.

We use safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), scoped access controls for multi-tenant separation, hashed credentials in the authentication system, webhook signature verification for Stripe events, and operational monitoring.

No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously work to reduce risk.

9) Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of your personal information.

To make a privacy request, contact us at info@fitclips.app. If your request is about services sold by a specific trainer, you may also contact that trainer directly. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited data where required by law.

FitClips and its providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11) Children's Privacy

FitClips is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 in violation of applicable law.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may notify users through the app or by email when appropriate.
